Small Talk at the Crossroads

This week, the weather took a dramatic hairpin turn directly into winter in the space of a single night. Suddenly, it's freezing. Which, incidentally, gives me a great excuse to break out big chunky pieces like this chocolate brown shearling Jenni Kayne jacket and throw them on over borderline-ridiculous things like a silver lace slipdress.

I stopped by the launch party for Agyness Deyn and Fiona Byrne's awesome new site naag.com last night at new Lower East Side restaurant Mary Queen of Scots and every time I stepped outside, I felt like it was the middle of December. Which inexplicably made me crave things like ice-skating, hot chocolate, Bergdorf's holiday windows, cheesy sweaters and Christmas shopping. 'Tis the season, folks. What are you guys most excited for now that the holidays are fast approaching?

  3. you're lucky you attended! I've been following their website thanks to Agyness' twitter updates, for a while now. Love the shearling jacket paired with the lace; it resembles the Burberry shearling*

  4. I am definitely excited for cozy blankets and hot tea/chocolate. Also, I always feel less guilty about staying in and watching a movie with friends instead of being outside. Your coat is beautiful!!
