Lanvin for H&M

Last night, I had the pleasure of viewing all the pieces from the upcoming Lanvin for H&M collection and it was DIVINE. I didn't go in with particularly high hopes--truth be told, I'm usually not a fan of these mass designer collaborations. More often than not, it seems as though it's impossible for the designer, no matter how talented, to really execute his or her vision while keeping prices that low. The fabrics are cheap, the construction flawed, and ultimately the clothes become "throw-away" pieces, much like the rest of fast fashion. BUT, this one is different. I fell in love with just about every piece in the room, and the clothes still managed to feel well-made and luxurious despite the astonishingly low price tags. I was thoroughly impressed. Also, drooling over everything. I even got to catch up with one of my most favorite people, Tony Everett from H&M, which was just the icing on the Lanvin cake. Love. Above, some of my favorite looks modeled by Irina Lazareanu. Collection in stores November 23rd. xo

  1. I just love the one shoulder mustard colored dress and the black tulle dress. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll actually be able to find them at one of the local H&Ms.

  2. Oh...and I will fight for the blue dress. Fit in with my maximalistic style I have sometimes ;)
