On My Speeding Heart

Summer has finally arrived here in NYC—the sun is shining, humidity is making my hair go crazy, and people baring indecent amounts of skin are out in full force. Not that I'm complaining—I wouldn't even think of it after the winter we've had. Now, I get to do things like wear floral surf-inspired shorts without worrying about freezing to death, make tons of light, lemon pasta (recipe coming tomorrow), and escape the city on the weekends in favor of some beach time. Woo! I don't know about you, but this kind of stuff makes me very, very happy. It's the simple things.

I'm wearing Cacharel shorts, a Rag & Bone sweater, and a random beach backpack I picked up at the Cynthia Rowley store in Montauk last summer. All photos by Mark Iantosca. xo

i stumbled upon your blog, and fell in love with instantly. i'm an incessant blog-reader (...and not so incessant blogger, myself). and i must say: i think yours is one of the best i ever met. i love your subtle style, that you're not only focused on fashion and 'superficial' things but also on food (which, i believe, makes life worth living, lol). AND i am so jealous of your HAIR! god... please tell me there is a secret recipe to getting hair like yours? the cut? some special shampoo? only healthy food? ...i do hope it's some secret medicine i don't know of, that i can easily incorporate in my life and in a few months' time i will look just like you, hadiha. wouldn't it be nice? a girl's allowed to dreaming... anyway. can i utter a wish? please do a 'how to' post about your make up and hair! would love that.
thanks for everything, keep on being wonderful
