Make the Sun Rise in Time

I heard a rumor today that NYC won't get above 60 degrees for all of April. If this prediction comes true, desperate measures may have to be taken. Like moving to California, for example. In all seriousness, I'm getting to the point where all of my winter clothes just look drab and tired and I can't bear to do ONE MORE POST in which I'm wearing a sweater and tights. I just can't.

So here's some spring inspiration for you instead. After months of wearing camels and greys and black, I'm excited to liven it up a bit with a hit of neon. Better yet, neons (plural) worn together, as is the case above. Doesn't all the color cheer you up a bit? Hey, if it can't be spring in real life, at least I can fake it on this blog. 2. Beautiful outfit...love the bright yellow. The weather this year on the East Coast has been so nasty...part of why I am moving to California :)

  3. Love the color and the slit. I'm a So Cal native who went to college in NYC. There is a lot I miss about that city but California is too much a part of me to give up. Spring is definitely my favorite season here. It as if nature decides to wake up one morning and cover the state in color and noise.

We are currently experiencing a bit of a heat wave. High of 88 today, and 91 yesterday which sucks when you're not mentally prepared for it. Its as if we skipped Spring and went straight into Summer, but hopefully things will cool down in a day or two. My suggestion to you would be come out West for a long weekend. You would get some sunshine, be able to dress for Spring without freezing, and it would be a heck of a lot easier than moving.
